Speak to a Study Tour Group

Professors from colleges and universities often travel abroad with groups of students to  study some aspect of their particular field from the perspective of the host country, and then connect what they’ve learned to academic coursework.  These study tours typically involve short visits (2-3 hours) to several companies or other organizations where students hear from industry experts about how business is conducted in that location, for example marketing strategy, financial modelling, global corporate management, supply chain analysis, human resource management, public policy research, and many other topics.  Students are expected to come to the meetings well prepared, having done prior research on the company, and ready to ask questions. A debrief session with the professor after the meeting helps students integrate this real-world experience into their classroom learning.

GAV specializes in arranging these study tours and matching host organizations with academic course goals. Such meetings afford students the opportunity to learn about your industry and organization and perhaps apply for a position upon graduation.  In addition, your staff can develop connections to faculty at top-notch academic institutions.

If you would be interested in hosting a group of students and their professor at your office to discuss an aspect of your business, please contact us to discuss.
